You Have A Purpose

prayers-7

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me and when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have vanished you… and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:11

A childhood acquaintance was in the hospital, fourth stage cancer and I was asked to minister the next day. “Lord, I haven’t seen this man for a very long time, please grant me Your wisdom, according to Your purpose and plan for him.” That day, I uttered a prayer for healing and prayers for health.
While I was preparing myself for the Hospital, there was this voice, “Just ask him what he said inside My tomb in Israel.” He used to work in Israel together with his wife and had the chance to visit Jesus’ tomb. I felt awkward asking him God’s question, yet when he heard it, I knew then he believed that it was God indeed who asked, and so we prayed for salvation.
After a month, I was asked to minister again for he died. I’ve learned that, the next day after our meeting, he got out from the hospital and received no further treatment for cancer because it would mean selling their house. He died with a serene peace on his face. That moment, I uttered prayer for strength so that his family can overcome such challenge in their life.
Two years later, a nonstop heavy rain came and flooded their area, every house were in deplorable condition, immersed with water. Her sister-in-law called telling me that to their amazement, his urn on top of the desk was not moved at all while the furniture, cupboards, other tables, chairs and all other things inside the house were full of mud and disarrayed on top of the other.
God is always faithful, He never forgot the very words spoken by that man unto Him in the tomb. The unmoved urn with his ashes in it, he is with God that even His ashes tells us of God’s eternal love, secured in heaven and on earth.
“With a donkey’s jawbone I have made donkey’s of them. With a donkey’s jawbone I have killed a thousand men.” Judges 15:16
Who would have thought that a donkey’s skeleton could still be used for killing a thousand men. God is our strength and our everything. Utter a prayer for strength whenever you need His presence. We should never be dismayed on the situation we are in right now, rest in the Lord and let Him take control of our lives, we are imperfect but our God is perfect.
“Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest,… For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:11-12
Be it a jawbone, be it ashes, God has His purpose and plan for all creation. With Him, nothing is impossible, just draw near to Him and let yourself be in the nucleus of God’s will. He has the power over every single thing here on earth. It is only right to say praise and worship prayers and offer them to the Lord.#
