Is God Really Listening To My Prayers?

2

Human as you are, you probably think that your prayers, such as prayer for healing and strength, prayer for prosperity and other prayers you have, are just bouncing off the ceiling. But you have to remember that God answers your prayers. As a matter of fact, John 16:24 reminds us that, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” This means that if ever you have been asking for something from God, His answers may not always be what you were expecting or hoping for.

God Always Answers Your Prayers

If you have been uttering a prayer for prosperity or a prayer for healing and strength, remind yourself that sometimes God’s answer is “no”. This is because He believes that what you are asking for is not the best one for you. This also means that His plans are better than yours. God loves you dearly. You may not understand why His answer is no, but keep in mind that He knows what is best for you. When you utter a prayer to God, it is your way of being honest with Him. He knows your heart, but you have to ask Him what you want. But if it is not the proper time yet, He will give you the answer to your prayers at the right time. Always remember that there is always a time for everything. All you need to do is have faith in God and learn the art of being patient. Patience is about doing good things while waiting for God’s answer.

Praying To God: What You Should Know

The Lord does answer your prayers. However, there are some important things you need to remember. If in case you ask God with wrong motives, He will not hear your prayers. James 4:3 reminds you that, “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” Instead, you should utter prayer for healing and strength instead of wishing other people’s harm or pain.
