Does God Hate Gay People?

2

God has a loving heart and everyone should utter a prayer of praise to God. However, when people talk about homosexuality and the church, people would ask if God hates homosexuals? This is one of the most common questions people ask because they are curious whether God condemns homosexuality or allows it to happen.

Before anything else, people should remember that the Lord is a loving, understanding God. Every creature, human being in this world is created by Him. People who judge homosexuals must utter a prayer for forgiveness to God because judging them is an insult to our Creator. God made us unique from one another. We all have our flaws and imperfections. We all have different views in life. The world is a colorful place because people have different personalities. So, why do people ask if God hates gay people?

The Bible reminds us that “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law” Romans 13:8-10.

The Lord Is A Loving God

So, does He hate homosexuals? The obvious answer is, He is not hateful toward them. As a matter of fact, He loves them. His love is eternal despite of our sinful nature. He does not hate anyone. Sometimes, He dislikes our mistakes and behaviors, however, He loves every one in this world.

Needless to say, people should utter a prayer of praise to God as a way of thanking Him for his unconditional love. He accepts every flaw we have. As long as the person leads a life that pleases the Lord, He will always be happy to accept everyone despite of their gender preference. Being a gay is just about a person’s gender preference. It does not define what kind of person they are. If they have sinned against the Lord, they should be willing to repent and ask His forgiveness by saying a prayer for forgiveness. With an honest heart, He will and can truly forgive.

What Every Person Should Know

Everyone’s a sinner. No one has the right to judge other people because of their gender preference. It is true that God created men and women. But in His eyes, everyone is special and His creation. If you are a gay person, remember that God loves you. He loves everyone. With His unconditional love, it is right to say a prayer of praise to God. Despite of the things we do or the sins we commit, He will always be there to accept us no matter what.
